Therapeutic After School Programs

Structured, therapeutic activities to children with behavioral and emotional problems.

Our Purpose

Our Therapeutic After School Programs provide structured, therapeutic activities two afternoons per week at two different locations in Baltimore County. The program is open to children ages 5-13 who have moderate to severe behavioral and emotional problems. Medical assistance is accepted.

Who We Serve

We serve children ages 5-13 facing moderate to severe behavioral and emotional challenges. Our program focuses on personalized treatment plans, including behavioral therapy, to ensure effective intervention for each child.
Our Therapeutic After School Programs are grant-funded in partnership with the Baltimore County Bureau of Behavioral Health.

Program treatment includes group therapy, homework help and PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) service.

Our program has 2 cohorts—M/W and T/Th, that run from 3:45-5:30pm. Transportation is offered to children within the 21227 zip code.

To qualify for admission, individuals ages 5-12 residing in Baltimore County must have a therapist referral and insurance approval for PRP service. Active Medicaid coverage and active engagement in behavioral therapy are also required for eligibility.
