Urgent in-kind needs: Mail/package deliveries can be sent to 17 W Franklin St, Baltimore, MD 21201

Monday through Friday donations are accepted at 411 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD 21201.  Weekend donations are by appointment only (please contact jmartin@cc-md.org).

We are NOT accepting donations of clothing, excluding brand new underwear, shoes, or feminine hygiene productsWe ARE accepting toiletries, and the following list:

FOOD:

  • Casseroles (store-bought or home-made) – E-mail jmartin@cc-md.org for our recipe book and safe food handling guide
  • Bottled water
  • Canned tuna or chicken
  • Canned veggies (asking specifically for green beans, spinach, corn, or sweet potatoes)
  • Canned soup (asking specifically for chicken noodle/chicken and rice or tomato)
  • Bread
  • Deli meats (turkey, ham)
  • Sliced cheese
  • Breakfast meats (such as sausage patties, bacon)
  • Salad/lettuce
  • Chips (individual packs)
  • Granola/cereal bars
  • Applesauce/fruit cups
  • Pudding/desserts
  • Aluminum foil
  • Clear sandwich bags

**NOTE: We currently have a good store of peanut butter and jelly, and will add back to the list if we get low

OPERATIONS:

  • URGENT NEED: Disinfectant spray and wipes
  • URGENT NEED: Hand soap and alcohol-based hand sanitizers
  • URGENT NEED: Latex gloves and protective surgical masks
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
  • Laundry detergent and dryer sheets

TOILETRIES:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Soap
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Lotions
  • Deodorants
  • Deodorants high priority

Open since 1982, My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is Baltimore City’s longest-serving women’s day shelter and resource center for women and children experiencing homelessness and poverty. We empower those we serve to overcome their situations through our services, which include extensive workshops centered on the 8 realms of wellness: emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, financial, occupational, and social wellness.

More than just a meal program, My Sister’s Place Women’s Center provides a safe haven for women in Baltimore City, a place to receive love and support as they work to overcome their barriers.
