For over 35 years, Our Daily Bread Employment Center has helped people in need with a daily hot meal, case management, job training, and employment counseling.

Who We Serve
Our Daily Bread Employment Center is committed to planting seeds of hope daily for individuals experiencing hunger in Baltimore City, and helping them improve their lives. Access to healthy food is a human right, and providing it is a collective responsibility. Satisfying this need requires sustained commitment and dedication from countless staff and volunteers, and support from the community. We all play an integral part.
We serve men and women in need across the greater Baltimore area.
Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s largest hot meal program, serving more than a quarter of a million meals to those experiencing hunger in Baltimore City each year. The daily meal is served every day (beginning at 10:30 a.m.), without a single interruption, since 1981. Breakfast is served every weekday to the elderly and those with special needs.
Providing a hot meal is just the start of our relationship to those in need.
We also serve as a gateway to a wealth of other services in the facility, including legal services, health care, employment opportunities, and government benefits.
