Q. Do you have to be Catholic to work at Catholic Charities?

Q. Do you offer benefits to part-time employees?
A. Yes. If the position requires at least twenty (20) hours per week, part-time employees are eligible for benefits. Click here to view our benefits summary.
Q. Why do most of your positions require a driver’s license with no more than 3 points?
A. Many of our positions may require you to transport clients and/or yourself to various locations. Because of this requirement, you need a valid driver’s license, and for safety and insurance reasons, we require you have no more than 3 points.
Q. I tried to submit an online application, but I don’t have an email address. How can I apply?
A. Our system requires that you enter an email address because our recruiting team has an electronic process. We send you acknowledgments, additional communications and information via email. Q. Do you require pre-employment drug screens and/or background checks?
A. It depends. Many of our positions are direct care positions that require our employees to work closely with vulnerable populations. Depending on the requirements of the position and the division of Catholic Charities you will be working in, you may be required to take a pre-employment drug screen, a criminal background check, be fingerprinted and/or have a complete physical.

The program introduced me to new ways of thinking and took me out of my comfort zone. I also can’t stress enough how valuable it was to go through the program with the rest of the group and to build business and personal ties. I believe that those ties will allow this group to function more effectively in the future as we work on future projects.
One of my favorite parts of this program was having the opportunity to meet and learn with others from throughout the agency. In my role, I do not get to interact as much as I would like with my peers, so having the chance to talk with them and hear what is impacting them in their work was very helpful and made me feel more connected to the agency.

The Supportive environment, especially among my coworkers. It is an environment that is encouraging which helped me get through some of the more challenging times. There is also a culture created that values self-care and the importance of having good work-life balance.
