T. Rowe Price Employees Volunteer for Christopher Place Dinner Service

This is what Patrick has to say about his experience:
“The feedback that I've gotten from our guys is that it's a great place to volunteer. They see that our service truly makes a difference to these men - we make an impact for sure. When we leave Christopher Place (CP) they consistently thank us for coming down and comment that they really appreciate us being there. The CP men recognize that it's our way of showing them that we care about their progress, and that we are here to encourage them. Our goal at CP is to connect with some of the guys as we share a meal together. Whether it's talking about what they did today, what their goals are, or just politics. Even if we don't get to talk much, I know our presence speaks volumes to them and that's what motivates me to want to go back and do even more.”
The Christopher Place men need to meet people who are hardworking, successful, have meaning and joy in their lives and want to give back. Engaging them in casual dialog about their process, their joys, their hard work or simply the weather or sports is a gift. Both groups, as Patrick attests, have much to gain! We are looking for small groups of men (2 or 3) to volunteer any weekday from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. serving dinner and enjoying the meal with the men. To find out more about how you can volunteer for the CP Dinner Service, call the volunteer line at 443.986.9031 or dfranzpl@cc-md.org.
