This volunteer position will be responsible for data entry into our Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database system: http://www.socialsolutions.com/. After a minimum period of training, this position allows your volunteer work to be completed at home.

Hours or times of day volunteers are needed: 3 - 4 hours / Weekdays (working from home)

Special skills required or recommended for this position: Typing with accuracy, receive and follow written and verbal instruction, and have a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Details:

This volunteer position is responsible for data entry into our Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database system — please visit the ETO webpage for more information on this software database at http://www.socialsolutions.com/. After a little training, this position does allow data entry to be completed at home. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sign in when volunteering hours at the program.
  • In working off-site, keep an accurate record of hours volunteered.
  • Report on time on expected days and at prearranged times to the assigned computer area/supervisor.
  • Obtain material for data entry as directed.
  • Enter material as trained. 
  • Report all errors and duplicates as trained. 

Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to type with accuracy.
  • Is able to take and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Have a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

General Expectations:

  • Treat all clients, employees, and volunteers with dignity and respect.
  • Work as a member of the program team in collaboration with all other employees and volunteers to deliver the highest quality services to all clients.
  • Posses a working knowledge of all services provided at MSPWC.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings as requested, including substance abuse, health and mental health sensitivity training.

Hours and Position Information:

This position requires 3 - 4 hours, weekdays working from home. Training time is estimated at one to two hours.
