Service Learning
Catholic Charities offers many opportunities for students to complete their service learning hours. In addition to the student volunteer opportunities listed below, we also have:
- Alternative Spring Break - Allows college students from across the county to spend their spring breaks in Baltimore serving Catholic Charities programs and the community. Trips are also available during Fall or Winter breaks. Contact Allison Stone, 410.261.6774 or astone@cc-md.org for more information.
- Project SERVE - A unique, year-long service learning opportunity. We are looking for recent college graduates who want to dedicate a year to full-time volunteerism and intentional community living. Our volunteers live in a seven bedroom house in downtown Baltimore City and work at a variety of Catholic Charities programs. We have opportunities working with people who are recent immigrants, children at-risk, people who are homeless, foster care families, and senior citizens, among others.
