Villa Maria ContinuumVilla Maria Schools are part of the Villa Maria Continuum. Accredited by the Joint Commission since 1987, Villa Maria Continuum has earned the highest level of accreditation possible in the past 6 triennial surveys, spanning the seventeen years. In 2003, Villa Maria Continuum earned accreditation through the Council on Accreditation, an agency that accredits child welfare and mental health agencies across the nation. Villa Maria Continuum is the first behavioral health organization to receive the U.S. Senate Productivity Award. This award is the highest recognition for performance excellence in the state of Maryland and personifies our journey to excellence. The agency’s values have been consistently rooted in a dedication to customer service with an emphasis on a process of self-assessment and self-monitoring focused on continuous improvement. Performance improvement is integrated into every aspect of programs and services through the continuous evaluation and improvement of processes and outcomes.
