Ida has been a Villa Maria staff member for 24 years. She has three years experience as an art teacher and 21 years in pre-vocational guidance. She has advanced professional certification in art K-12 and Special Education, K-12. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in Art Education and has two Master’s degrees from Towson University and the University of Maryland. She loves teaching children new skills and enabling them to enjoy learning. She is committed to her work and is especially good at communicating clear, step-by-step directions to her students. In her spare time, she loves the outdoors and walks, plays tennis, draws, travels and enjoys time with her family.
