Volunteer at St. Vincent's Villa

"The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit." - Nelson Henderson

St. Vincent’s Villa has been serving Maryland’s most vulnerable children since 1856. St. Vincent’s is a home for 70 boys and girls aged 6-14 with emotional and behavioral problems. At St. Vincent’s, children receive state-of-the-art treatment while living in a home like setting in one of our ten units in Timonium, Maryland. Our children need to form relationships with committed volunteers who will help them to heal and hope. We have many weekly volunteer opportunities and some occasional opportunities for those unable to commit to weekly volunteering (see below). If you have questions or would like to become a volunteer, please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, or contact Carol Shear, Director of Volunteer Services at 410-252-4000 x1672 or cshear@cc-md.org.

Occasional Volunteer Opportunities

We have volunteer opportunities time to time for folks who cannot commit to weekly volunteering. These include helping with parties for the children and helping with special projects that support the children’s care.

If you are interested in any of the above volunteer opportunities, please contact Carol Shear at 410-252-4000 x1672 or cshear@cc-md.org.
