Purpose
-
To prepare children with emotional/behavioral disabilities to live in the least restrictive environment that most approximates a home-like, community based setting.
-
To provide children and families with the skills and strategies needed to live successfully in their home and community or a home like alternative.
Services
-
Individualized treatment planning, including individual, group and family therapy sessions.
-
Individualized behavior treatment plan developed with full participation of the parent/guardian, the child and other team members.

Case management/advocacy services and coordination with schools and other resources.

Psychiatric services and medication monitoring.
- Year-round structured therapeutic recreational and activity programming.

Focused milieu therapy in areas of problem solving, coping, social skill development and life skills training.

Routine health care services.

Meals and snacks

After-care planning.
Admission Criteria
-
Children must be between the ages of 9 - 14 .

Children must be in need of 24 hour supervision and residential services in a structured group home setting.

Children must have the ability to follow directions under emergency conditions.

Children must have the physical and intellectual capacity to understand the rules of the therapeutic group home and to participate in the social, recreational and educational programming provided.
