St. Vincent's Center is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for the children that will help them to heal from the pain and trauma they have endured. We rely on the kindness, generosity and spirit of our donors to give the children additional opportunities and increase their quality of care. One of the most important elements of our therapeutic plan is to restore the fun of childhood. We celebrate birthdays and holidays. We also celebrate fun for the sake of fun! Trips to the movies or the zoo or cultural events are provided solely by the generosity of our donors and volunteers. Cookouts, puppet shows, mini-carnivals, holiday parties and so much more are also high on the wish lists of the children. It doesn’t really matter what the activity, what matters is that people care enough to get involved.
