Catholic Charities Services for WomenCatholic Charities operates a variety of programs and services, such as day shelters, employment services, meal programs, counseling, case management and child care, that serve the needs of women in our community. Our goal is to give women the skills and tools they need to lead a life of independence. Adoptions and Pregnancy Services offers assistance to birth mothers and adoptive mothers. Anna’s House offers transitional and permanent housing for homeless women and their children in Harford County. The Center for Family Services provides treatment foster care services, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption planning services, and adoptive family services. Families that Work assists women who are temporary cash assistance recipients starting in their third trimester of pregnancy with attaining the life skills and employment skills necessary to secure employment and maintain a healthy, balanced life. My Sister’s Place is a day program for homeless women and their children that provides shower and laundry facilities, case management, life skills workshops, and three meals each day. My Sister’s Place Lodge provides transitional housing, intensive case management, and life skills training to homeless women diagnosed with mental illness. My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is a comprehensive resource center for homeless and impoverished women and children in Baltimore. Sarah’s House is a supportive housing program for homeless families in Anne Arundel County. |
