Kevin Found Support and Stability at Holden Hall

Since the age of 13 Kevin had lived on the streets. Finding the courage to seek help after 26 years of drug and alcohol addiction, he made the commitment to change his life. Today after much hard work and through the support of Holden Hall, Kevin has celebrated over one year of sobriety and is preparing to go back to school.

In this video, Kevin shares his story of how Holden Hall, a long-term housing unit for formerly homeless, disabled men, has turned his life around. Thanks to the structure and support that Holden Hall offers, Kevin has been able to maintain his sobriety and find part-time work. His goal today is to go back to school to become a councilor so he can help others find their way out of the devastating life of addiction. Kevin credits Holden Hall with helping him become a better man. He hopes that by sharing his story he will help others to learn from his mistakes and inspire young people to build brighter futures for themselves.

Kevin's touching testimony highlights the vital work accomplished at Holden Hall each and every day. In addition to providing a stable home for these often fragile men, Holden Hall offers counseling, life and social skills training, and financial management training.
