Catholic Charities Senior Housing at Our Lady of Fatima II

The January 2011 opening of Catholic Charities’ Senior Housing at Our Lady of Fatima II will be the agency’s 22nd apartment community for low- to moderate income seniors. Beginning in November, applications were mailed out to persons on the interest list and the leasing process is underway.
These 51 rent-assisted, one-bedroom apartments for older adults are funded by the HUD Section 20 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program. The community is located at 200 Kane Street near the corner of East Pratt and Kane Streets in Baltimore and can be accessed from I-95 and I-895. The site provides convenient access to shopping, banking, medical care, recreation, and places of worship in the immediate area.
Our Lady of Fatima II apartments are approximately 540 sq. ft. and include a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath, a passthrough between the kitchen and dining area, carpeting, personal emergency response system for residents, wiring for cable television and telephone, tenant controlled lobby entry system and individually controlled and metered utilities. There will be community and recreational activities, support services, and office space incorporated in the design. The building will include:

A labyrinth and covered walkway will connect Our Lady of Fatima II to Our Lady of Fatima I, a 54-unit apartment community located next door that opened in June 2010. There is no application fee to apply for residency at any Catholic Charities Senior Housing apartment community. Catholic Charities welcomes people of all faiths and is an Equal Housing Opportunity provider.
Applicants must:
• be at least 62 years of age
• meet HUD established income guidelines (current limit is $28,800 for one person, $32,900 for twopersons), and
• meet regular leasing requirements
