In the Jenkins Senior Living Community, we cherish the divine within each person by supporting elders with compassion, excellence and integrity. Through our Pastoral Care Ministry, we strive to allow Christ’s love to work though each of us so that our elders can live their lives fully. We assist staff, elders, families, and volunteers to be open to the wants and needs of all members of the Jenkins family, and acknowledge the gifts that we each bring to the enrichment of our community. We carry out our ministry in many ways: through daily Mass, bringing Holy Communion to elders, Ecumenical Services, Special Celebrations, Memorial Services, and Devotions, as well as providing spiritual support to elders, their families and staff. Acknowledging the divine within may even be as simple as taking the time to listen to elders as they share their life and concerns.
