The Good Samaritan Society
Catholic Charities' Good Samaritan Society honors those of all faiths and all backgrounds whose bequests or planned gifts will help support Catholic Charities' work in the years to come.
The New Testament parable of "the Good Samaritan" (Luke 10: 29-37) has come down through the ages, is honored by all cultures, and resonates in the stories of all religious traditions. The Good Samaritan exemplifies "love made real, compassion made visible."
Your planned gift helps to ensure that Baltimore-area children and families, the poor, seniors and people with developmental disabilities can count on the life-changing work of Catholic Charities into the future. What a meaningful legacy!
If you have provided for Catholic Charities in your will or if you have established a life income gift such as a charitable gift annuity or a charitable trust with Catholic Charities as a remainder-man or beneficiary, you qualify for membership in The Good Samaritan Society. If you prefer, you may remain anonymous, but informing us of your membership qualification will allow us to express our gratitude privately.
Benefits of membership include:
• Recognition in the Society's roster
• A "Cup of Kindness" butchers block apron
• A distinctive pin symbolizing membership
• Invitation to an annual affair honoring members
• Private tours of Catholic Charities' programs
• Special informational mailings
