Tea is Back at ODB, Thanks to McCormick & Co.
Ever wonder what 20,000 tea bags look like? Here's a photo of the munificent donation Catholic Charities Our Daily Bread received from McCormick & Company this week. Our Daily Bread (ODB) is Maryland's hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to hungry citizens of Baltimore City each year. Every plate comes with a warm welcome and a cup of sweet tea. For the past few weeks, ODB has been running out of tea bags and the guests have really been missing their tea. When we asked McCormick for help, they sent us a year's supply of tea bags right away.
McCormick has long supported the work of Catholic Charities, with donations of $70,000 last year alone, as well as participation in fundraising activities. We join the men, women, and children we serve in saying thank you.
