On June 4, Our Daily Bread will relocate from its 16-year location at 411 Cathedral Street to a newly constructed three-story, 52,000-square-foot facility, Our Daily Bread Employment Center, at 725 Fallsway. The building is Baltimore City’s comprehensive resource center facility that will provide services that enable people to satisfy their hunger for food as well as gain self sufficiency through employment and stable housing. This is the 26th year of operation of Maryland’s largest hot meal program that has never closed its doors since opening in 1981.Last year, 237,200 meals were served to men, women and children. A corps of volunteers from churches, synagogues, businesses, and schools provide the casseroles that are served to the guests. Volunteers also serve the meal.

Catholic Charities is Maryland’s leading private provider of human services, welcoming and serving people of all faiths and races. Rooted in faith, the Agency has a rich history of effective programs that significantly improve the lives of children and families, seniors, the disadvantaged, and people with developmental disabilities. Catholic Charities serves over 160,000 individuals every year.
