Esperanza Center to present An International Evening

on May 21 featuring the music, food, and art of African, Asian and Latin countries

April 29, 2011-Esperanza Center will present An International Evening on Saturday, May 21,2011, from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. at 430 South Broadway in Baltimore, Maryland. “Sharing our cultures, sharing ourselves” is the theme of the fundraiser that will feature the music, food, and art of African, Asian, and Latin countries. Tickets are $50 and include the price of wine and beer. Proceeds benefit the Esperanza Center, a Catholic Charities-run resource and health care center for immigrants. Events include a silent auction; and a raffle for an afternoon fashion show for 10 people by designer Victor Rossi with a high tea at the Country Club of Maryland and a raffle for a dinner party for 10 people hosted by Lourdes Morales and coordinated by Rosa Azcarate.  Valet and garage parking will be available.

The Esperanza Center provides social, educational, healthcare and legal services to Hispanic and other immigrants in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
