More than 120 women filled the dining room at My Sister’s Place Women’s Center for a Christmas party where they were the honored guests. After enjoying a meal, each participant in the program for homeless and displaced women and their children received a gift bag. Contents of the package included a hat, scarf, gloves, underwear, socks, a clothing item, and toiletries—all made possible through the generous donation of supporters. Children who were present were taken to a room to pick out one toy from an assorted variety. The child’s mother selected needed clothing to match taste and size.
