Sharp Rise in Food Needs
My Sister's Place Women's Center serves three meals a day. The need for food goes up toward the end of the month because many of the women we serve are employed, but don't earn enough to make ends meet. That means that towards the end of the month, money for food runs out and more women and children come to MSPWC to eat. This month, we've seen an especially sharp increase in the need for additional meals.
We are in urgent need of additional food donations, especially perishable items. If you can help, please call Jackie Reid, 410-659-3763, to arrange a time to drop off the food so we can be sure to have someone at the kitchen door to let you in. Thank you for your help.
