Fun Had by All at 8th Annual Bridesmaids' BINGO
Three hundred donors, volunteers, employees and bingo lovers attended the 8th Annual Bridesmaids' BINGO on May 12 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple. Attendees, many of whom arrived in their best (and worst) bridesmaid's dresses, enjoyed 14 bingo games, many great prizes, delicious food and beverages, music, bouquet tossing, and the cutting of the cake.
Kaiser Permanente, the presenting sponsor for the evening, generously gave $164,000 this year to Catholic Charities to support health and welfare of homeless families at My Sister's Place Women's Center and Sarah's House, as well as health services at the Esperanza Center. Representatives from Kaiser Permanente Maritha Gay, Sr. Director of External Affairs and Jill Yonowitz resented a check at the event.
