The Faces of Families that Work

The women who participate in the Families That Work program go from . . .

Sixteen years of heroin use and ten years of unemployment to working everyday, drug free and being a role model for their children.

Being a high school drop-out to obtaining a GED.

Serving as a volunteer to becoming an employee.

Facing eviction to working at John Hopkins Hospital and living in a new townhouse.

Having low self-esteem and being undirected and unmotivated to being self-assured, striving towards goals and balancing education, parenting and employment.

Unemployment to employed and enrolled in college.

These are just a few of the stories that happen everyday at the Families That Work” Program.
