Families that Work

Through a comprehensive range of services, we assist pregnant cash assistance recipients with attaining the life skill and employment skills necessary to secure employment and maintain a healthy, balanced life.
The foundation of this program is the co-active coaching model and the program design supports the expectant mothers in balancing their medical condition (pregnancy) while participating in job readiness activities and in identifying and changing any self-destructive cycle.
Our program consists of individualized models that focus on four distictive categories. They are:
- Barrier Removal
- Human Development & Education
- Mental Health Education
- Assessments and Skill-Building
The goals of Families that Work are to:
- Identify and work to overcome barriers that prevent women from remaining successfully employed
- Empower women to create balance in their lives
- Increase parenting skills
- Increase stress management and coping skills
- Increase and strengthen support systems
We help new mothers ensure the well-being of their young families. Please feel free to call us! We'll be happy to help you.
