Combined Charity Campaign

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Designate #8111

Thanks to the generosity of Baltimore City employees and retirees, Catholic Charities is one of the top organizations to receive Combined Charity Campaign designations each year. As Maryland's leading private provider of human services, Catholic Charities offers an array of services to more than 160,000 of our neighbors in need each year.

Over the past year:

  • Our Daily Bread Employment Center has placed 440 individuals into stable employment, and served 267,000 meals to Baltimore's hungry, an increase of 24 percent from 2008.
  • My Sister's Place Women's Center has placed 36 women into jobs and served over 29,000 meals to homeless women and their children, since opening in November 2008.
  • Sarah's House has sheltered 554 children, women and men; provided day care for 124 children; and transitioned 83 families to stable housing and employment.
  • Christopher Place and Holden Hall provided housing and job skills training for 114 formerly homeless men.

Your gift supports 80 Catholic Charities programs serving children and families, the disadvantaged, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Catholic Charities welcomes all of our neighbors in need, regardless of their age, race, religion, or other circumstances,
