If you are concerned about a child experiencing behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges, or if you are just overwhelmed, a Family Navigator can help by offering support and compassion and connecting you with existing community based services.
Browse through our Resource Navigation pages to find useful information about Mental/Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Educational Advocacy, Physical Health and Insurance, Substance Abuse and more.
A Family Navigator is the parent or caregiver of a child with special needs, who has learned from the challenges of being caregiver, and is knowledgeable about Baltimore County support services and delivery systems. A Family Navigator can work with you over the phone or meet with you at a time and location that is convenient for you to help you identify your strengths and challenges and develop a plan of action.
