Your Gifts Make a Difference

Contributions to the Gallagher Family Fund, grants, and in-kind contributions help Gallagher Services maintain and improve our homes and day programs. Some projects are planned as part of the annual capital process, while others may result from new program developments as in the case of the Art Therapy Program.

As part of last year’s capital improvements, the Family Fund provided matching funds to install elevator lifts in three of our two-story group homes. The lifts will improve the accessibility to individuals who are elderly and/or have health and mobility issues. A fourth home in Anne Arundel County will receive a lift in next year’s capital program.

Gifts to the Family Fund, proceeds from special events like the Christmas Festival at the Basilica, grants, and in-kind donations make it possible for us to insure that Gallagher Services will be able to open doors to a fuller life for people with developmental disabilities by meeting today’s needs and needs and opportunities as they arise in years to come.
