Treatment Foster Care Information Sessions

Are you thinking about becoming a treatment foster parent?

Come and meet our staff and experienced foster parents so you can learn more about treatment foster care, and what you need to know prior to beginning the certification process.

Information Sessions are held every month at each of our Treatment Foster Care offices. 

These sessions are designed to give you an overview of treatment foster care, our specialized programs, some of the dynamics of children and youth in care and the expectations of treatment foster parents.  We would like you to know as much as you can about treatment foster care before you begin the certification process.

Below is the schedule of our future sessions.  The meetings will be held in our new building at 2601 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21218 as well as our office located at 1301 Continental Drive, Abingdon, MD 21009.

• December 20, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Howard St.)

• January 26, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Abingdon)

• February 28, 6:00-8:00 p.m. (Howard St.)

• March 22, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Abingdon)

• April 24, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Howard St.)

• May 24, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Abingdon)

• June 26, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Howard St.)
