Catholic Charities Family Services provides state-of-the-art behavioral health, child welfare, special education, early childhood and family-development services. Known for creativity, innovation, excellence, and our nationally-recognized Family-Provider Partnership, the programs of C&FS focus on building and unifying families and helping families and individuals of all ages to achieve healthier lives.
Where We Provide Services
Family Services serves children from all over the State of Maryland in its residential programs. Counseling services are available in Central and Western Maryland to children, youth, adults and families. Most other services listed below are available to children, youth and families in the Central Maryland region.“Villa Maria has been a very valuable source of support and a very valuable counseling program. How to Get Specific Information
Information about any of our services can be obtained by calling (410) 252-4700 and letting the receptionist know which program(s) you are interested in knowing more about. You will then be transferred or referred to an individual who can assist you. Family Services is proudly accredited by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. The Joint Commission’s behavioral health care standards address important functions relating to the care of individuals served and the management of behavioral health care organizations. The standards are developed in consultation with behavioral health care experts, providers, measurement experts, individuals served and their families.
Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.
Family Services is committed to working with consumers for any concerns about care, treatment, or services provided in any of our programs. If after our attempts to resolve any concern that you may have, you still believe that you have pertinent and valid information about such matters, you may contact the Joint Commission field representatives in writing.
