Volunteers and Guest Enjoy a Summer Cookout

Anna's House hosted a wonderful Volunteer Appreciation Cookout this summer in the back yard of the transitional housing program in Harford County. Anna's Guys volunteers, mentors, and volunteers from the parenting classes and childrens center were all recognized along with The Dresher Foundation, a generous funder of Catholic Charities. Anna's House honored the Dresher Foundation with a poster board designed by the women and children, a Certificate of Appreciation and a bush planted in the front of the house.  

Tammy, an Anna's House client (pictured below) spoke about and her experience in the transitional program and her successful move into the program's permanent housing. It was a lovely event despite the heat. More than seventy guests, volunteers, parents, children and staff attended.
