Faithful Citizens Alerts

An invitation to action – at your fingertips

In a brief alert we offer details about an issue of concern, explain implications of the legislation, and request that you respond to your elected officials.

The state legislative session is only 90 days long, but critical decisions are made in that short time that affect vulnerable Marylanders. You can help ensure that legislative decisions are in the best interest of those in need, thereby building a healthier community for all of us.

This obligation also falls on individual citizens as they choose their representatives and participate in shaping public opinion.”  -Economic Justice for All, United States Catholic Bishops
